The ISPA currently has the following structure. After the first Board of Directors is elected in July, 2009 this structure may be refined or changed. Look for any updates to the structure here in the August/September 2009 time-frame.

Current ISPA Organizational Structure

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors will consist of 5 members. These members will come from ISPA Teams.

Responsibilities: The Board of Directors shall be responsible for all decisions concerning the direction and operation of the ISPA.

Team Representatives

Each ISPA Team will supply one representative. This person will represent the team in all matters concerning the ISPA.

Responsibilities: The Team Representative may be called upon for special situations where team input is required or deemed necessary either by the by-laws or the Board of Directors. A majority vote is required by the Team Representatives to amend the ISPA By-laws.

Rules Committee

The Rules Committee is made up of members from ISPA Teams.

Responsibilities: The Rules Committee is solely responsible for the Official Rules of Segway Polo. No changes shall be made to the Official Rules of Segway Polo without the Rules Committee’s consideration and a majority vote for the changes.
