Guys,

I'm trying to make it to Cologne. Not sure if I can but I'll be in Morocco and France for some meetings and if all works out I'll stay a few extra days and spend the weekend with y'all, getting there sometime on Friday afternoon at the earliest.

If I make it (again, big if) I will gladly ref but will need to borrow a Segway (I'll bring my shirt and whistle).

it is not all saved but i will give you a overview..

Monday until Thursday the field will be open for practice

Wednesday: Evening – press conference in the hard rock cafe with a few guys.. (Woz / Alex / some guy of the city of cologne / me )

Thursday: Evening – rally from the hotel to the inner city of cologne – destination is the HRC where the pres can make pictures outside…we push the harleys beside and park the segways in front – small imbiss inside – and than…

Friday: Captains and Referees Meeting in front of the start around 1pm Start of the tournament and play until 5-6pm on two fields.

Start for a short glide to the restaurant for polo dinner (only players and family and some of the helping hands… we will collect some money in the front door (around 25€ )

Saturday: Matches will start in the morning – only one center court – until 5-6 pm..  Taking a short shower and take the trolley to the HRC for the players party (also some segway enthusiasts from europe are welcome) collect a small money like friday..  going back by the trolley..

Sunday: will start the matches around 10am so people will leave after the winners ceremony can check out the hotel before.. around 4 – 5pm winners ceremony..  WOZ-CUP / place 1 – 3 / fair play cup

We have the HRC Catering on the arena al days – food for players and volunteers is free..

on saturday and sunday we will have some activities around the field – we are looking for the fastest ball for example, segway agility parcours etc…

We hope that we can all enjoy a weekend that you will never forget and would appreciate it that all players can help some things if a helping hand is needed.. and also we ask again for refs from the team – we have some but they do not have much experience in reffing segwaypolo.. so tey will be asistents for the first matches…
