I have added the next one to the ISPA calendar.  I think a great day was had by all.  I think I was most impressed from the quality of play we saw from the first timers.

Today was a lot of fun!!! 29 people showed up to play in "The West Coast Classic Segway Polo Tournament". We made up six teams, and everybody played A LOT of polo. It was great to see some new faces out there today.

A very big thanks to Jim for bringing a grill and cooking up some great sausages and burgers!!!

A very big congratulations to our newest ISPA member team, "The Folsom Breakouts"! They're coming together fast, so watch out!!!

Lastly, A heartfelt thanks to George Clark. This is George's and my second tournament sponsorship, and the best one yet. I look forward to the next one in September. Possibly on Saturday the 11th.

The city double booked the morning at fairwood, so we are going back
to good old Ponderosa Park where it all started.

836 Ponderosa ave.
sunnyvale, ca 94086

10am until we are done. If you can't make the 10am start time call
[(408) 234-0444] so we know you are coming.

$20 per person.
You get a shirt to play in, water, and trophies for the 1st, 2nd, and
3rd place teams.

Sorry about the late change. I hope to see you all there.

The word on the street is that the event will be at Fairwood Elementary in Sunnyvale at 10AM on Sat, 3/27.  Facebook (plus what extra people I know of) says there'll be at least 18 people.  If things go like last Sept where only 15 people RSVPed but 25 showed up, I'd expect between 30 and 35 this time.  Or enough for 6 or 7 teams!

Picking the teams is the funnest part of the tournament…random assignment ensures no one is "picked last".  Then we go through a round or two of shuffling where the each team has the other teams agree to who they have to swap off of their team.  Seeing where the consensous ends up always amuses!

ps – Don't be late…and bring extra batteries!

We are planning on 27 March this year! We will have more info as it becomes available!

Its already on the Calendar, but I am not sure if any one checks it!
